Porcupine Meatballs
1 package ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 egg
1/2 cup rice, uncooked
1 large can spaghetti sauce
salt and pepper to taste
Combine above ingredients, except for spaghetti sauce in a mixing bowl. Form into small meatballs and arrange in a 9×13 baking pan. Cover with sauce and bake at 350 for 1 hour or until meatballs are cooked through.
This is an incredibly easy and frugal recipe. And delicious to boot! It’s a definite family favourite here.

Hiya,
Should the rice be cooked, or uncooked?
This looks terrific and easy to make. I’ll give it a go!
Warmly,
Lynn
I’m sorry! I’ll fix that right up. The rice is uncooked when mixed with the meat.
